Meilian Li
Meilian is a Ph.D. student at National University of Singapore working with Professor Xiaogang He.
Her research focuses on developing adaptive spatial optimization for Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystems nexus, especially under uncertainties from climate change. She works at the intersection of Engineering, Economics, Artificial Intelligence, Environmental Policy, and Data Science.
Before coming to NUS, Meilian received her BSc (Major) in Marine Science and BMgt (dual) in Business Administration from Tianjin University.
Xiaogang He
Xiaogang He is an Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore.
His research focuses on how climate change, variability, and human interventions affect drought and flood risk across scales, and how to implement an integrative framework to reduce their societal impact.
Before joining NUS, he was a Water in the West Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University working on sustainable groundwater management and multi-benefit land use planning.
